620 Quik-Solv Cleaner Concentrate

Mixed with water or solvents

Description:620 Quik-Solv is a purple solvent emulsifiable biodegradable cleaner which may be mixed with ordinary solvents or diluted with water to make an economical yet powerful cleaner for those tough cleaning and degreasing jobs.
Composition:Quik-Solv attacks oil, grease, and grime with excellent results.  The emulsifiers used in Quik-Solv assure complete breakdown of oil or grease and allow surfaces to be rinsed clean with water.  As a low foamer, it mixes easily with hot, cold, soft or hard water.
Uses:Machinery and Equipment:  Rinse equipment.  Add 2 ounces of Quik-Solv, if desired.  Agitate extremely dirty areas with brush or mitt.  Let penetrating action of chemical solution continue for ten minutes.  Rinse equipment clean.

Washing Automobiles,Trucks: Rinse with plain water.  Add one ounce of Quik-Solv to one gallon of water.  Use car mitt or brush for best results.  Rinse with clear water.

Building Maintenance: Add one ounce of Quik-Solv to one gallon of clear water.

Floors, Walls, Painted Areas – Dairy Buildings: Add one ounce of Quik-Solv to each gallon of water, either cold or hot.

Federally Inspected Meat, Poultry, Egg Grading and Inspection Programs: 620 Quik-Solv is approved for use by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) as a floor and wall cleaner.  Before using 620 Quik-Solv, food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected.  After using, all cleaned surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water.

Stripping Old Wax From Floors: Use 1 part Quik-Solv to 10 parts of hot water.  Apply mixture to the floor allowing it to remain for 6 to 10 minutes.  Use scrubbing machine with steel wool pad to agitate.  Do not allow solution to dry out.  Machine buff with steel wool pad.  In picking up Quik-Solv cleaning solutions, use a clear water rinse.  Since hot water dries more quickly, it is better to use a hot water rinse when possible.  After stripping, rinse floor twice.  Best method is for second man to follow about 10 feet behind first man.  Keep mops well wrung out and as clean as possible.

Industrial Machinery Cleaning and Degreasing Pumps, Engines, Compressors: Spray or brush mixture over area to be cleaned.  Let penetrate for 5 to 15 minutes; hose down with water and wash down thoroughly; hose off again and wipe or air dry.  It does not harm rubber seals or polished aluminum trim.  Leaves no streaks or spots.

Concrete Floors or Heavy Areas of Oil and Grease:  Also Parking Areas, Driveways, Freight Docks, Lube Bays:  One part Quik-Solv to 2 parts solvent (kerosene).  Cleaner and solvent should be vigorously agitated until smooth emulsion is formed.  With different solvents, proportions may have to be varied somewhat.  Let penetrate approximately 10 minutes or longer, if necessary.  Scrub if required.  Use high-pressure hose for rinsing.
Steam Cleaning:  Add one ounce Quik-Solv per gallon of water.  Use heavier amount of Quik-Solv for cleaning extremely soiled areas.

Under designation of 720 Rig Wash, this same product is applicable to all cleaning aspects of the drilling industry, both on land and offshore.  720 Rig Wash mixes readily with salt water.
