Synthetic Blend Industrial Hydraulic Oil
ISO 32, 46, 68
| Description: |
Odyssey AW Synthetic Blend Hydraulic Oils are ideal for a wide variety of industrial hydraulic applications. They are available in ISO grades with excellent oxidation stability, low temperature flow characteristics, and high viscosity index. |
| Composition: |
Odyssey AW fluids contain the following additives:
Anti-wear Agents
Rust Inhibitors
Anti-foam Agents
Corrosion Inhibitors
Oxidation Inhibitors
Pour Point Depressants
| Performance Characteristics: |
Synthetic base stocks are incorporated in these fluids which have excellent resistance to oxidation emulsification, and high resistance to foaming.
Oxidation unchecked is approximately doubled for every 20 degree rise in temperature. Oxidation is prevented which can clog small orifices and tightly fitted parts and lead to corrosion of metal surfaces. Special additives prevent rusting by forming a protective film on metal surfaces.
With their high viscosity indices, these oils show very little flow rate change regardless of changes in pressure and temperature and prevent loss of pressure around seals.
The positive lubrication provided reduces fluid operating temperatures and provides better overall mechanical efficiency combined with less power consumption. It is extremely inexpensive due to its long life and reduced wear and tear on parts. |
| Uses: |
Engineered to give efficient operation and excellent lubrication in all types of industrial hydraulic applications and operating conditions, performance far exceeds the anti-wear requirements for Vickers Pumps as shown in the Vickers Pump Test. Meets and exceeds Vickers’ requirement for a “high zinc” type anti-wear hydraulic oil. Meets and exceeds also Denison Pump Division HF-2 and HF-O specifications.
Formulated to meet and exceed the requirements of Cincinnati Milacron (See Industrial Hydraulic Oils Performance Supplement). |
