Description:

236 Primrose Plus Air Compressor Oil is a blend of the highest quality solvent refined, paraffinic and naphthenic petroleum mineral oils and additives which prevent rust and oxidation. This oil is formulated for clean, trouble-free air compressor lubrication and effective control of carbon deposits for longer life.

Performance Characteristics:

Primrose Plus Air Compressor Oil is formulated with a carefully balanced base oil blend. The highest quality solvent refined and hydrotreated naphthenic stocks are combined with the same high quality paraffinic stocks. Both types of base oil give desirable characteristics to the product.

The paraffinic oil helps maintain good viscosity characteristics over a wide temperature range, giving positive lubricating and wear-preventing properties to the lubricant. Naphthenic oils produce much less carbon and have natural solvency properties, so the ability of the lubricant to reduce and prevent the formation of carbon deposits decreases wear and tear on parts and extends the life of the compressor. In addition, the naphthenic oil gives a lower pour point to allow operation at colder temperatures.

These highly refined base oils, coupled with an extremely effective additive package give excellent resistance to oxidation for operation at higher temperatures for a much longer time.

Uses:

236 is recommended for single-stage, double-stage or multi-stage air compressors under a variety of conditions.
