212M Armor Plate with Moly-D Multifunction Industrial Oil

Description: Armor Plate with Moly-D 212M is blended from highly refined base stock oils and selected additives to provide an oil suitable for a wide variety of industrial applications. It is available in all viscosities, all with excellent low temperature flow characteristics and high viscosity index.
Composition: 212M contains the following additives:

Oxidation Inhibitors

Anti-wear Agents

Corrosion Inhibitors

Anti-foam Agents

Rust Inhibitors

Pour Point Depressants

Armor Plate 212M contains the superior friction-reducing compound, Moly-D.
Performance Characteristics: Oxidation unchecked is approximately doubled for every 20-degree rise in temperature. 212M prevents oxidation, which can clog small orifices and tightly fitted parts and lead to corrosion of metal surfaces. Special additives in 212M prevent rusting by forming a protective film on metal surfaces.

The positive lubrication provided reduces fluid operating temperatures. 212M provides better overall mechanical efficiency combined with less power consumption. It is extremely inexpensive due to its long life and reduced wear and tear on parts.

212M is blended with base stocks, which have excellent resistance to emulsification and high resistance to foaming.

212M has excellent thermal and oxidative stability. It passes a 5,000 hour ASTM D943 Oxidation Stability Test.
Uses: 212M is engineered to give efficient operation and excellent lubrication in all types of industrial applications and operating conditions.

212M far exceeds the anti-wear requirements for Vickers Pumps as shown in the Vickers Pump Test and also Denison Pump Division under both their HF-2 and HF-O specifications.
