| Description: | Primrose Plus Non-Detergent Oil No. 201 is a pure mineral oil (PMO) available in SAE 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 as specified. |
| Composition: | Primrose Plus Non-Detergent Oil is blended using the finest high viscosity index paraffinic mid-continent petroleum base stocks and is inhibited against foam. Since it is a non-detergent oil, it is completely ashless. |
| Performance Characteristics: | 201 meets and exceeds the requirements of API designation SA*. It can be used for light duty or small engine use. It also fulfills the requirements for PMO transmission lubricants. Since SAE 50 is within the SAE 90 gear oil viscosity range, 201 SAE 50 may be used where SAE 90 PMO is called for. |
| Uses: | Excellent service by 201 is afforded to engines operated under mild conditions not requiring special additives, or for hydraulic, industrial gear, cutting and other applications requiring a high quality straight mineral oil with a high viscosity index. |
| Applications: | 201 is excellent for utility engine service or add-oil, or for any application requiring a mineral lubricating oil of specified weight. It is also a great general purpose machine oil for a multitude of shop applications. *NOTE: The API SA engine oil classification is obsolete and has no performance requirement. |
